Loving Real Technique Brushes

I know that I'm pretty late jumping on this one, but it's something that I didn't intend on doing. The truth is that I've known that I needed new make-up brushes for a good while now, I've just not gotten round to actually taking the plunge.
Brushes should be an investment, yes they can be pricey but good brushes improve the look of your make-up. I was lucky enough to pick these up on a 3 for 2 offer (Bargain!!) so an investment into some decent brushes wasn't too steep.
I purchased (from left to right) the expert face brush, the blush brush and the powder brush and they are all so soft! I have to say that I'm a very happy  bunny.
The real technique brushes are made from synthetic bristles which makes them 100% cruelty free, something that I think is very important. Synthetic bristles are slightly stiffer than natural bristles and allow more control over the product, they are especially fab for applying cream make-up such as foundation and cream blushers.
One thing, that I admit is blatantly obvious, that I have not picked up on before is that the brushes are all colour coded. I just thought they were in different colours because it's pretty but now I'm feeling pretty blonde. The orange brushes are for applying a base (notice the miracle complexion sponge is also orange), the pink brushes are the finishing brushes for applying blushers and bronzers etc...and the purple brushes are all for creating gorgeous eyes.
Overall I'm very impressed so far, they are full of bristles so are thick and fluffy and I love the improvement that they make from my previous brushes. I'm going to put the eyes starter set on my wishlist which includes two shadow brushes, a detailing brush, a liner brush and a brow brush. It's all very exciting.
