Wedding Outift under £45?

I always find dressing for weddings so much harder than it needs to be. You need to find something that you can wear during the formal daytime affairs but will last you into the evening aswell. You need to find something that you haven't worn as an ensemble before and definitely find something that you haven't already worn to someone else's wedding! (Or at least not something that people there have seen you wear to someone else's wedding) Personally I find it pretty stressful.

I went to a beautiful wedding at the weekend in a gorgeous converted barn. Not going to lie, totally relieved that I was only going to the evening reception as it makes things so much easier! I teamed together a plain black pencil skirt (Primark, £8) with a neon yellow/green strappy cami (New Look, £9.99) and added my gorgeous black platform wedges (New Look, see my 'New Look Shoe Haul'), a gold and mint green statement necklace (Primark, £5) and a black and white envelope clutch (Primark, £5). Altogether my outfit added up to about £42, which isn't a bad feat. I didn't really do much with my hair (I never do) but teamed natural make-up with lash extensions and a statement red lip and white fingernails. Perfect.
