'Vintage Wednesday'

 

This post is overdue by a whole week because our 'Vintage Wednesday' was actually last week...my bad. At college we are working towards our end of year showcase that will take the audience on a journey through the history of war, from WW1 right through to modern warfare. It's sensitive, touching, light hearted at times and going to be fab!

As part of our research towards the piece (a bit of last minute fundraising) we had a 'Vintage Wednesday'. A Wednesday where we paid homage to all things vintage!

I woke up that morning, put my victory rolls in, my hair up in a scarf and put my wellies on to complete my 1940s Land Girl costume. We had a fab day and everyone took part. I love the idea of a 'Vintage Wednesday' so much that I may make it a regular (*cough*) feature.

What are your thoughts on a 'Vintage Wednesday'?
